    Image Credit and copyright: Matt Cook Join us for a fairly strenuous morning walk of some 4.5 miles meeting at Bedales Car Park from 10.00 am for a prompt 10.30 am start. This walk will include a climb up the Shoulder of Mutton Hill and a stop at the Edward Thomas Memorial Stones for some readings from his work. Returning to Steep Village Hall for lunch (bring your own) where there will be an opportunity to meet other Fellowship and committee members and watch a screening of the Award-winning 'Home to the Hangers' short film by A.D.   • John Clare Society Study Day

    Helpston Village Hall 7 West Street, Helpston

    The John Clare Society are hosting a joint Study Day with the Edward Thomas Fellowship at Helpston, near Peterborough. The title for the day is "Two Roads Converge" and will take place at Helpston Village Hall, 7 West Street, Helpston, Near Peterborough, PE6 7DU. Arrival and registration is between 9.30 am and 10.00 am.

    It is with great regret that we have decided to postpone the annual Edward Thomas Birthday Walk, due to take place this Sunday, 1st March, owing to ground conditions, tree damage on the Hangers and concerns for participants safety on what will undoubtedly be difficult terrain. This will also mean postponement of the Fellowship's AGM scheduled to take place in the afternoon.
