At least twice each year, the Fellowship publishes a Newsletter, containing news items, announcements and substantial articles relating to the life, writings, associates and subsequent influence of Edward Thomas. From August 2023 the newsletter is being edited by Andrew Darling. Please email contributions to the Newsletter to him, and details of any publications for review – andrew.darling@gmx.co.uk.
Members of the Fellowship are posted printed paper copies of our Newsletter immediately on publication.
Beginning with Newsletter 63, published in January 2010, each issue will be available online to the general public – after a delay of two years – on this page as a downloadable PDF document. The most recent copies can only be obtained by becoming a member of The Edward Thomas Fellowship.
The indexes of previous issues are also provided below.
Richard Emeny became the editor of the Newsletter with issue number 19 and filled its pages with erudite scholarship until Newsletter 60, when he passed the editorial baton to Dr Guy Cuthbertson, who expertly fulfilled this role until the end of 2016.
From the end of 2016 the editorship was in the capable hands of Julia Maxted, who relinquished this committee role in the autumn of 2020, with issue number 84 being her swansong.
Since then our editor has been David Kerslake, who passed over the editorship to Andrew Darling in August 2023.
