Everyone is invited to attend this event at All Saints Church, Steep, GU32 2DF on the evening of Saturday 5 March 2022, starting at 7 pm. Tickets are £15 each and may be ordered through ticketsource.co.uk/hm-collective or, if you live in or near Petersfield, in person from One Tree Books, Lavant Street, Petersfield. If you are travelling down for the weekend please do not forget to visit the Edward Thomas Study Centre at Petersfield Museum, which is open during the day on the 5th.

EDWARD THOMAS LITERARY FESTIVAL – 2022   The 2022 Edward Thomas Literary Festival takes place between 6 and 9 October with a range of events and activities that will be of interest to everyone, both in-person and digitally, and will once again be based at Petersfield Museum. Edward Thomas, Oxford and the Past As part of the Fellowship Committee's wish to expand our activities and engagement, we are delighted to bring you details of this event which has been organised by members Margaret Keeping (author of A Conscious Englishman and also a Committee Member) and Julia Maxted (former Newsletter editor). This will be an interesting and varied day with talks, a walk and a visit to Lincoln College and its archives, where Thomas studied at the turn of the 19th and 20th Centuries. Meeting at the Lincoln College Archive, Museum Road, Oxford, OX1 3PL on 15 July  This event is open to both Members and non-Members of the Edward Thomas Fellowship, with preference given to Fellowship Members until 16 June. Join members of the Edward Thomas Fellowship in Petersfield, at The Avenue Pavilion, Petersfield, and online for a full day of talks and poetry readings inspired by the life and work of Edward Thomas and other poets and writers of that period. Hear also about how Edward Thomas was already writing about Climate Change over 100 years ago. Speakers include: The lecturer, poet, press critic and editor Rory Waterman who will read some of his own poetry and talk about the 'Super-Tramp' Poet W. H. Edward Thomas Weekend, 6-8 October (Sunday Walk)

Join members of The Edward Thomas Fellowship and participants in the Petersfield Walking Festival in this, strenuous in places four and a half / five mile on the Sunday morning of this Edward Thomas Weekend. Following in the footsteps of the poet and his family, we will walk from Bedales School to the Memorial Stone (pictured here at the time of its unveiling in 1937) and then on to Bee Cottage (where Thomas did most of his writing between 1909 and 1916), with the kind permission of its owner, Sharyn Antonini, before returning to Steep and Bedales School via a path that is the subject of his poem The Path. This descent will need care as it is steep in places. There is no charge to attend this walk but registration is requested please for health and safety purposes. Annual Birthday Walk 2024 and Fellowship Annual General Meeting
