1878 – 1917
This is a schedule of planned and forthcoming Fellowship Events – some of which may be open to non-Members – and full details will appear under separate pages in due course and in Newsletters (Members only) or eBulletins (for those registered).
This year the Edward Thomas Study Centre at Petersfield Museum and Art Gallery will be open all day on the Saturday and in the evening your Committee propose reviving the Annual Fellowship Dinner in the evening.
On the Sunday there will be the Annual Birthday Walk followed by a (bring your own) picnic lunch and an afternoon talk before the day concludes with the Fellowship AGM
It is hoped that the entire day will be hosted at Bedales School.
Further details will follow as above and when available.
This Study Day, which it is proposed will take place in the EPA Centre at Lincoln College, is being organised for a date in late June.
Further details will follow when confirmed.
This is a new event for our calendar and will see a return to Epping Forest and the area where Edward Thomas was based in the Artists Rifles.
Details to follow.
2023 is a ‘fallow’ year for the Edward Thomas Literary Festival so it is proposed that a Study Day and Walk is held instead – based again at Petersfield Museum and Art Gallery.
It will have a slightly ‘lighter’ touch than the Festival Saturday with maybe one talk or poetry reading ‘set’ in the morning, one in the afternoon and then the evening, digital, gathering with the Fellowship and the Robert Frost Society.
On the Sunday, for those staying over for the weekend, there will be a Fellowship-led walk.
